A Flexible Clinical Role for an Experienced Licensed Therapist

Mar y Sol Mental Health Experts is seeking a fully licensed Connecticut LCSW or LMFT to join our established multidisciplinary mental health practice in Danbury.

We are looking for an experienced therapist who enjoys clinical work, values professional autonomy, and wants the flexibility to focus on the populations and areas of therapy they enjoy most.

We are especially interested in LCSWs and LMFTs who have experience or an interest in providing clinical supervision.

Supervision is an opportunity within the role—not the primary responsibility. Your main focus will remain providing psychotherapy and developing a caseload aligned with your clinical interests.

The Role

You will provide psychotherapy to patients who fit your clinical experience, interests, and preferred populations.

Clinical areas within our practice include:

• Anxiety and depression

• Women’s mental health

• Children and adolescents

• ADHD

• OCD

• Trauma

• Substance use and recovery

• Couples and relationship concerns

• Family therapy

• Life transitions and stress

You do not need to specialize in all of these areas. We want clinicians to work with the populations and conditions that best align with their experience and professional interests.

For qualified clinicians who are interested, there may also be opportunities to provide clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy based on your experience and interests

• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate to each patient

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, APRNs, PAs, therapists, and outside providers when appropriate

• Assess and respond appropriately to clinical risk and urgent situations

• Maintain professional, ethical, and clinical standards of care

• Participate in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment

• For interested and qualified clinicians, provide clinical supervision

Who We're Looking For

Applicants must:

• Hold an active, unrestricted Connecticut LCSW or LMFT license

• Have experience providing outpatient psychotherapy

• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Be comfortable practicing independently

• Value professional autonomy while also enjoying clinical collaboration

• Be able to appropriately assess and manage clinical risk

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

We are especially interested in experienced clinicians who enjoy supervision or would like to incorporate clinical supervision into their professional role.
